It was probably cost prohibitive.
Sure, some could take the hit with the cost of the car, but when a tiny valve breaks somewhere deep in the car's bowels and you need to limp to a specialist, you'll reconsider the virtues of a more common suspension.

Sounds like no valves were involved...I believe it was electromagnetic...no fluids. I'm just thinking it would have been nice if they had gotten someone to use it so they could start covering R&D costs...maybe it would have started becoming a reasonably-priced option if they had.

I can definitely see that taking up a large portion of brain activity...considering it mostly works on witchcraft as far as I can tell.
